Nick Lurty
Principal Consultant
Nick has generated tens of millions of dollars in value through non-capital operational improvements that enhanced efficiency, throughput, and cost performance. He has also contributed to the development of more than a dozen patents supporting the commercialization of biotechnology innovations by transforming laboratory advances into scalable, industrially viable solutions.
His work reflects a strong focus on operational excellence, technology maturation, and practical pathways from research to market deployment. Today, these technologies produce bio-derived industrial and nutritional products worldwide for public firms with combined market caps over $2B.
Nick earned an MBA and MS in Finance from Indiana’s Kelley School of Business. He also holds post-graduate degrees from Stanford and Johns Hopkins in Biotechnology. Nick is a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Chemical Engineering and a PMP® Certified Program Manager.
